In 1959 the citizens of two coastal communities, Handsboro and Mississippi City, formed the Handsboro Civic Club, a nonprofit to help provide employment opportunities, equal education, financial resources, and needed services to the communities.     That mission continues today through the Handsboro Mississippi City Civic Organization 501c(3) nonprofit focused on community development. Join us on our journey to make our communities the best place to live, work, raise families, play, and develop businesses on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
